Hwee Lee is the Senior Director of Sustainability at UNIQLO Singapore, where she leads the company's sustainability strategy and ESG initiatives across Singapore and ASEAN. She drives sustainability solutions that address the business's most material environmental and social priorities, translating UNIQLO's global sustainability commitments into programmes that create meaningful impact for local communities while supporting long-term business resilience.

With an international career spanning the private, public, and people sectors, Hwee brings extensive experience in sustainability, brand strategy, stakeholder engagement, and corporate communications. She has led numerous cross-sector collaborations with government agencies, businesses, social enterprises, and community organisations to develop practical solutions that deliver shared value for society and industry.

At UNIQLO, Hwee has spearheaded initiatives including RE.UNIQLO, which extends the life of clothing through collection, reuse and recycling programmes, as well as Neighbours Helping Neighbours, a community partnership that redistributes pre-loved clothing to vulnerable communities. She has also championed inclusive initiatives such as The Heart of LifeWear and accessibility programmes that make retail spaces more welcoming for persons with disabilities, demonstrating how sustainability can be embedded across products, operations, and customer experiences.

Passionate about creating lasting social and environmental impact, Hwee advocates for collaboration across sectors to accelerate sustainable transformation. She believes businesses have an important role in building resilient communities and advancing a more inclusive and circular future through innovation, partnership, and purposeful action.
